Showing the survey widget to subscribers only
By default, RightAsk questions display to website visitors who do not match the conditions outlined in your RightAsk segments.
To display RightAsk questions to your subscribers, you can add the 'Anonymous' condition to your segment group(s) so your subscriber does not meet the condition and is shown the RightAsk question.
Adding the Anonymous ESP condition to a RightAsk Segment Group.
In your RightMessage dashboard for the website you are personalizing, click ‘Segments’ in the admin bar.
In the left sidebar, click the name of the segment group you want to add the 'Anonymous' condition to.
Click the 'Auto-segmentation' tab to show the existing conditions for the segment.
Beside the first segment in the list, click 'Define this segment'.
Select the 'Anonymous' condition type in the drop down provided for the ESP your RightMessage account is integrated with.
You only need to add the 'Anonymous' condition to the first segment.
To make sure your new condition is saved, click the ‘Publish’ button in the top right corner of the screen.
Testing the RightAsk question sequence
To test RightAsk, open a private/incognito window in your browser.
Log into RightMessage account - this is so your clicks are not counted in the RightAsk goal data.
Open your website in a second tab of the private/incognito window to view the question sequence as an anonymous visitor.
You should only see the RightAsk questions where you have not added the 'Anonymous' condition to the segment group.
